Boston startup Teradar emerged from stealth with $150 million in funding to launch the worldβs first commercial terahertz vision sensor. Offering 20 times the resolution of radar, the chip maintains clarity through fog, rain, and snow. Teradar aims to replace traditional radar and LiDAR in autonomous vehicles, with plans for on-road deployment by 2028.
